Privacy for the beta list

What we keep

Your email address, the time you signed up, and, if you arrived through a shared link, the tag on that link (for example “friend”). To stop automated spam we also keep a one-way scrambled form of your IP address for a short rate limit. We can’t turn it back into your IP.

What we use it for

• To email you when your beta spot opens.
• When Errata launches, to set up your account so you can sign in straight away. You choose your password then.

We don’t sell your email or share it with advertisers, and we won’t send you marketing beyond the beta invite and launch news.

Removing your email

Email us at [email protected] and we’ll delete it from the list.
